How did they made the jump from J2EE design patterns to Windows device drivers, I don't know. However their guess is not completely without merit. Take a look at the Windows device driver I wrote: WQGHLT. It's GPL-ed.

hi weiqi, good to know that there are other java hackers who hacked on windrivers as well. do you miss softice ? I did, when i moved to the java world. I want BPINT and other conditional breakpoints (recently java IDEs are giving conditionals, albeit with very slow performance). Amazon book recommendation : there is a chance that some of us bought both the Core Java book as well as device driver books around the same time (I know I did 8 years ago) BR, ~A

I don't think your Win3.1 driver counts as NT, but nice try :-) I see the readme has a timestamp of Feb 2006. You may have the newest Win3.1 driver in existence.
