Java Regular Expressions At St. Louis JUG

This month, the St. Louis JUG went back to basics. In yesterday's JUG meeting Dean Wette talked about Java Regular Expressions, a feature that was introduced in J2SE 1.4.

Dean is a veteran speaker at the JUG, having presented there five times over the last eight years.

"You should really learn and use the Java regular expression API. It is so powerful it will save you a lot of time from iterating through a String character by character," said Dean.

The full presentation can be found at the St. Louis JUG Knowledge Base.
