bin & lib, or bine & libe?

Here's a trivia question: How do you call your bin and lib directories?

I've always call my bin the "bin" directory and my lib the "libe" directory.

I didn't realize the inconsistency in my convention until recently: If I call lib libe because it is short for libraries, then I should call bin bine because it is short for binaries.

Right?

Interesting post. I pronounce them exactly as you do and didn't realize the inconsitency until you mentioned it. Weird.

How do you pronounce 'char' - is it 'car'? How about 'enum' - is it 'enume'? What about 'lib' - is it 'libe'? I've always said 'char', 'bin', 'lib' - say it as it looks, life's complicated enough already.
