Generating HTML From Code With Enscript
I've been talking about enscript a lot lately.
It just so happens that it can also generate HTML from source code, converting the <, & signs, etc., with syntax highlighting, in color if you want. Very handy for putting code snippets into blogs or other Web documents:
[weiqi@gao] $ enscript --color --language=html --output=Main.html Main.java
Re: Generating HTML From Code With Enscript
No, I did not use it because I don't have any less-than or ampersand signs in my code.
I simply copied my code from a GnomeTerminal window and pasted into an HTML text area in Mozilla, surrended the code with the pre tag, and added some color with the span tag.
I don't know why the code is showing up on one line in your browser.
Re: Generating HTML From Code With Enscript
No one from any tech site has been able to tell me why my printers,on internet only, prints enscript gibberish(to me).. covering 20-40 pages for a simple request for printed copy of a 10 line e mail..also it comes through in teeny print... printers work perfectly when off of the DSL internet connection....
How about it?. Do you have an answer... Embarq doesn't.. Dell doesn't.. Epson doesn't./..Techguy.com doesn't..
